From Rainer Joswigs blog: Franz has made their Common Graphics based IDE available on Linux.
The IDE is the Integrated Development Environment. It works in concert with a windowing system called Common Graphics. It has been available on MicroSoft Windows machines since its inception. It is now available, in a very early release form, on x86 Linux platforms running Allegro CL 7.0.

A review of Practical Common Lisp on Slashdot. In a discussion about it on comp.lang.lisp, the maintainer of one of the sites mentioned in the review notes how the Lisp based server handled the slashdotting:
72000 + hits from that slashdot article on a cliki using a serve-event
listener on a UML instance with 128mb RAM, and it stayed solid... Lisp
is "practical" indeed :)
