OCamIL. An experimental OCaml compiler that targets .NET.

From Lambda the Ultimate comes news that the REXX programming language has been open sourced by IBM.

Factor 0.67 has been released. This version includes an interface to SDL. Factor is a concatenative programming language combining elements of Joy, Forth and Lisp.

A beta of Gambit Scheme v4.0 has been released.
Gambit-C includes a Scheme interpreter and a Scheme compiler which can be used to build standalone executables. Because the compiler generates portable C code it is fairly easy toport to any platform with a decent C compiler.

C# to Flash compiler. A compiler for C# that generates Flash bytecode which can then run in the browser.

From Lambda the Ultimate: Google Labs has a document on 'MapReduce', a programming model and associated implementation for processing and generating large data sets.
