Pitcairn Island is in the New Zealand news lately. Unfortunately not for good reasons. My mothers mother, Elvina Imogen Coffin, was born on Pitcairn and I found her details on the descendants of the HMS Bounty web pages here and here, The children list is a bit short listing only two 'Williams' descendants, missing out almost a dozen others including my mother. Pitcairn was the island that the crew from the mutiny on the ship HMS Bounty settled in 1789. 2:00:02 PM
